summary of the facilities we can provide for your visit:

Carlton Cross Country Course is set in 200 acres of beautiful rolling open Bedfordshire countryside as well as woodland tracks. The course was designed by Philip Herbert over 18 years ago and it is now well established and mature.
The focus of the course lies in the safe confines of the meadow surrounded by high hedges and woodland ground.
There are over 70 well maintained fences with all the variety required to meet the needs of all abilities up to BE Novice standard.
There are plenty of challenging fences of varying heights which are ideal for parent/ child schooling. The layout of the fences allows a trainer to view virtually the entire course from the top of the meadow ground which makes schooling for groups and individuals much easier and safer. The course includes gallops, a water complex, ditches, banks and a wide variety of other obstacles from 2`0 to 3`3-3`6.

We have recently improved our parking facilities and can now accomodate a
number of boxes on hard standing. If reversing is a problem, it is possible
to turn around in the adjoining paddock. For larger groups there is plenty
of parking in the paddocks and even more for events. We have a tractor that
can pull any difficult vehicles in the unlikely event of poor ground
conditions.
